WOW it has been forever since I posted and now my child will look like a giant to those who don't see us regualarly. A lot has changed since I last posted. We finished Fall semester at SUU, moved to Farmington, Utah about 3 weeks ago, Kyle started his new job at Tanner acounting in SLC TODAY (yeah Ky), I start my student teaching next Monday at Weat Jordan elementary, and Rigden has grown up so fast! Kyle will take two online classes this semester to finish up his masters in accounting and I will student teach to finish my bachelors in Elementary Ed. Then in May we will be official graduates!!! We decided to move in with Ron and Jill (ky parents) while we look for a house up here. We miss Cedar and all of our wonderful friends and family especially my brother and sister in law luke and Candace, our adorable nephew Ty, our great friends nate and Lyndsi, and some great friends from the block to name a few. We loved living there and will truely miss so much about it. We are loving it here so far. We have always wanted to end up here since we got married. It's crazy it's actually here. We hope to be here for a very long time. My sister lives in Ogden and I am so excited to be close to her. One of the fun things about Cedar was living closer to my other sister kim and her husband Ez. We hope that they will join the band wagon and move up here soon! HINT HINT.... Rigden is 6.5 months old. He gets more active all the time. He is sitting up pretty good and rolls like crazy. He scoots and will be crawling soon I'm sure. He still has his crazy hair and beautiful blue eyes. We just love our sweet little boy. He is such a good sleeper and hardly ever cries. He is very mellow he'll even cuddle still sometimes. SO life has been crazy since we started school and much has happened. Rigden has gotten so big and he will be 3 and 1/2 months this week. He smiles constantly and is so close to laughing. I think he will be sitting in a month or so. He holds his head great and continues to sleep good. Some things that have happened.... Kyle got a job offer in Salt Lake and we will be moving in December up north. I will be doing my student teaching up in Jordan school district and we are excited about that.
Rigdens blessing was at the begining of September. It was fun to have our immediate family come and spend the day. Hunting seasons have begun and Kyle is gone often doing something. Last weekend we went to Price and I played in the CEU ALumni game. It was so fun to see everyone and play again. Even tho I am severly our of shape ha This week I had my first practicum at Parowan Elementary. I taught for the first time as a teacher for an entire week. It was fifth grade and I had so much fun! I didn't realize how exhausted I would be tho. That is a quick update, I'll try to update more often. Love you all!

Rigden is 9 weeks old already! Time has gone by so fast. He continues to be a great baby and is now sleeping 8-10 hours a night, thank you Rigden! We decided that he had to have a haircut. He has always had a lot of hair and finally we got it cut. Here are some before and after pictures.

Well we finally have the internet and I have so much to update so here we go! On Monday June 13th I went in for my 38 week appointment. I was dialted to 3.5 and almost 100% thinned. She told me that she doubted I would go til my due date and to let her know if anything happened. That night ky and I went on a walk but I felt the same and wasn't having contractions. That night (Tuesday June 14th) at 1:30 AM my water broke. I woke ky up and he thought I was joking. We grabbed our stuff and headed to the hospital. It was a 20 minute drive and I only had 2 contractions. By the time I got there and Checked in I was dialated to a 5 and they gave me the epidural shortly after so I hardly felt any pain. Rigden arrived after an hour and a half of intense pushing. Wow exhausting! He was born at 11:30 AM. 7 lbs. 13 oz. and 21.5 inches long. He was perfectly healthy and we feel so blessed to have him. Since then we have been all over. We went to Deweyville for the 4th of July, Went to Vegas to visit my family, camping in Kolob, fish lake this last weekend and spent lots of great time with our families. Our little boy is growing so much, he now weighs 10 lbs. and is 23 inches long. He has been an excellent baby. He sleeps great and hardly ever cries. HE is almost 7 weeks. I can't believe how fast time goes once they're here. Thanks everyone for all your love and support. We are so happy to have Rigden here! I am over at the school so I'll give a quick update. We welcomed Rigden Scott Graham on June 14th (a week early). He is a healthy, beautiful baby. He has tons of dark brown hair and big blue eyes. We should be getting our internet working soon so I will post lots of pictures and the birth story.

38 week update

My husband is home!!!!! Yes finally :). Last I posted he was planning on coming home the 12th. He had his flight booked and I was counting down the days. Come Saturday night he called and said, "can you pick me up tomorrow?" I didn't ask questions, "of course I can!!!!" So I picked him up Sunday night and it has been the best three days since! It was so hard to be apart and we just decided that it was time for this cross country thing to end! Monday we went to my 38 week appointment and got some good news. I am dilated to a 3 and 50% effaced. Yeah for more progress! We also set a date for my induction so if I haven't gone by my due date I will be induced the night of the 20th at midnight so hopeful the latest I will have my sweet baby is the 21st! My dads birthday is the 21st so half of me wants him to come then and then the other half just wants to be done with this whole pregnancy thing. We will see what baby Graham decides. As for now that's all the updates I have. I'll keep updating as things progress!

37 Weeks

Yesterday I had my 37 week appointment. I am dialated to a 2! Yeah for progress:) Other then that she said that he will come when he needs to and she'll see me in a week. I still feel pretty good besides the fact that I am getting huge! I don't think my skin can stretch anymore. I just have pain from stretching and having a growing human inside me! I know I will eventually miss feeling him move but I am ready to have him here. I just hope and pray that he continues to grow and be healthy. As much as I want him here today I know he will come when he is ready. Kyle is still in Louisiana and doing good. He amazes me everyday with his hardwork and positive outlook. Most days we stay pretty positive but it's the hardest thing we have ever done, being away from each other so long. He has been gone almost a month and it has been really hard! I think it's probably a good thing because it keeps my complaining to a minimum. haha I know that I need to stay poitive for him so I don't complain as much as I would if he were here. Luckily we have been able to skpye, that helps so much to be able to see each other and feel like we're together. He has his flight booked so the latest I will see him is June 12th! Only 12 more days! If we can handle a month this next few days are nothing right? haha It will continue to be hard but I am so glad that we have a date to look forward to. As for everything else I am just living with my parents. It has been fun to shop, swim, and spend time with my family. However I feel guilty that Ky works his butt off everyday for me to do nothing. Thanks Ky for all your hardwork I appreciate all you do for us! I love you so very much! I'll continue to update. Hope all is well with you!

My mom and I went to a bunko night last week and I made these treats. They were so good! Not a bit healthy but very good!

Oreo/cream cheese balls
1 pkg. Oreos
1 8 oz. Cream Cheese
1 bag choc. chips

Place 9 oreos to the side for later. Crush remaining oreos in a food processor or with rolling pin. Once crushed add cream cheese and mix well. Once mixed roll into 1 inch balls. About 25-30 balls. Melt choc. chips and cruch remaining 9 oreos. Roll balls in melted chocolate and then oreo crumbs. Place on a cookie sheet with wax paper. Then place the cookie sheet in the freezer for about an hour. Take them out and enjoy! They need to be kept in the fridge after.

Did I mention these are so good!!!!

Slurpee time and 36 weeks!

Well it is now official that I am 36 weeks. Closer to 37 now :) I had my appointment Monday. Sadly I am not dialated or thinning at all but she said not to worry. I have been having a lot of Braxton hicks contractions today so I hope that's a good sign of progression. Other then that the appointment wasn't to exciting or comfortable! Love being a women! haha Last night me and my sister Madi went for a slurpee run. The rest of my family leaves us every Wednesday for YW and YM so we went for a treat. Despite our age difference (11 years) we are really close and we always have fun. Blue rasberry slurpees are the best!!!!

35.5 Weeks

Well I am really tempted to just say I AM FINALLY 36 WEEKS!!!!! However it's not official yet. I have an appointment on Monday that will hopefully be full of information for me. I feel like I have no idea what to do if I go into labor so hopefully we can figure some things out at the appointment. Kyle is still selling in Texas and doing well. Hopefully they will be in Louisianna before too long. It's hard being apart but I don't wake up in the night hoping he is there or get excited when the door bell rings thinking he is here to surprise me anymore haha. I know that he wishes he could be here just as much but we will have to wait til baby arrives to see each other again. As for me I am feeling pretty good. I feel like I waddle but my mom says I don't know what waddling is yet. My only complaint is that my rib cage feels like it is constantly being pushed wider and it hurts! He hasn't stoppped moving since yesterday morning. It all started with the hiccups and he has been "dancing" ever since. I love feeling him move but it does get tiring! Well I'll continue to update if anything new and exciting happens! Ky I know your going to read this so I love you very much! I am so proud of you and thankful for your hardwork! Nothing worth having is easy to get!!! MUAH!

Shower Time

Back in April I had two baby showers. One with Kys family and then my mom and sisters gave me one for my side of the family and friends. They were both so fun and I got spoiled rotten! Thanks to everyone who came and support us and baby boy! I forgot my camera for the Graham shower but here are some pics from the Norr shower. I also had a shower in Cedar put on by my favorite neighbors Allie, Nat, and Kylee (miss you guys). I did get a couple pics from that but of course they are downloaded to the computer Ky has in Texas so I will have to post those later. Thanks again everyone for all their support and love! We are so excited to meet our baby boy in just 4.5 weeks!

Well it's official, I am in Las Vegas with my family and Ky is in Texas. We took him to the airport Sunday morning and off he went. I have been holding it together pretty good until today. A whole 2 days I know but I miss him very much. I search flights all day but unfortunatly it's just not reasonable for me to go out there for what it costs. On the bright side I went to the doctor Monday and everything is going great! She said I am measuring exactly 34 weeks and that's what I am. He has a strong heartbeat and is still very active. I love feeling him move but my right side rib cage is getting sore. It feels like it's bruised and I will be glad to get some relief from that soon. When I go for my next appointment at 36 weeks she will check my cervix and all that joyous stuff. I really would love for the baby to come early as long as he is healthy. I am so needy for my husband. Life just sucks without your spouse! However I know the baby will come when he is ready and it will truely be the best day ever! I can meet him and be reunited with my husband! We are still open to name suggestions.... so feel free to leave ideas. As of now we are think Drew, Kayden, or Logan. Ky however is not a fan of Logan but I really like it. I hope you are all doing well. Until next time.

Kyle's 25th Birthday!

Ky's birthday was a couple weeks ago on April 19th! He turned the big 25! We went to dinner with a bunch of our couple friends and then it was back to studying! He has been so busy with school and now we are finally down to the last week! We both have a final on Thursday and then we are done! Kyle is graduating with his bachelors but he is going in to his masters so he won't walk til next May along with me. Sunday Kyle is flying out to Louisianna for summer sells. I will be moving down with my parents until the baby comes. SO yes I will be having the baby in Las Vegas and Kyle may or may not be there for the delivery depending in how and when this baby enters this life. Either way he will be here as soon as he can and hopefulle he will make it in time to see the babies big day entrance! I am very nervous and scared to be without Ky but my family will take great care of me. If anyone wants to come for a visit give me a call. Vegas is goingt to be so warm! Well that's about as much as I want to think about being away from my husband. So I just want to let him know I love him so very much and he is the best husband, friend, example, and person I know. I can't wait to see him and our litle boy together! It will be such an amazing experience. I love you Ky!

We got our crib this weekend and we are so excited to have it! It totally makes things feel really real. When I walk past the room and see it I just smile. It's so exciting for us! We got home really late sunday night but we had to get it put up asap, we were both so excited (not just me believe it or not). Kyle put it up in no time and we are so happy with the result! The whole room isn't finished but here is a sneak peak of just the crib.

Our room has always been black, white, and red but this past weekend my mom gave me a comforter that needed a new home. I am glad it made its way to my house cause change is always fun even though its a suttle change! Here are a few pictures of or "new" space.

Yesterday I was officially 30 weeks! I can't believe how fast time goes by! I have continued to feel great. I am starting to get a little uncomfortable and I don't know how my skin can stretch anymore but all is good! Keep our fingers crossed for no stretch marks!!! haha See you in ten weeks baby Graham!

Baby Bedding!

So back in January I decided that I was going to make the baby bedding. With my sister Kims help we went fabric shopping and I got all my supplies. I was so excited about what we had picked out and couldn't wait to see the finished product. I knew that I was in for an adventure to finish it but I was so excited! Thanks to my mom and Kim we spent a whole day and a half sewing and putting together the bedding! I appreciate their help more then they will ever know. They did most of the work, ok pretty much all of the work (I am the least crafty of all my sisters). I think it turned out really cute! Here are the results..... We get our crib this weekend so ill post a picture of the bedding in the crib once it's all set up.

26 Weeks!

Well I am now 26.5 weeks and I can't believe how fast time has gone.I have been so lucky with this pregnancy! I have never thrown up, hardly been nausiated, been comfortable, and just a little tired. In other words I have had the perfect pregnancy I think possible. However I guess I couldn't get by without being sick atleast one day! I woke up around 3 AM Wednesday morning feeling so sick and I ran to the bathroom. This repeated itself for the next few hours and I felt so nausious. Kyle stayed home and took care of me until he had to go to work at 1. Right before he left I couldn't stop throwing up and there went everything I had tried to eat or drink all morning. He went to work and I tried to sleep. A couple more trips to the bathroom and I was feeling so tried. Finally around 9 PM I started feeling like myself. I don't know if it was a viral thing, food posioning, or what but something was up. This was the first time that I had thrown up in my pregnancy and since Ky and I got married almost 3 years ago! Kyle was so good to me and is a wonderful husband/caregiver! I of course have always known how much Kyle loves me but there's something about being taken care of when your sick that makes you really appreciate and love that person even more. Ky thanks for taking such good care of me and always showing me that you love me! Mom and Dad thanks for the calls of comfort and helpful sickness advice, you always take great care of us when you are here or there. Nat thanks for the call and Hallie for always making me smile! Hopefully I won't get sick again cause its miserable but I am truely grateful now for my healthy pregnancy and lack of sickness! I did take a 26 week prego picture but our camera is being weird so look for picture updates soon!

24 Weeks/6 Months

I am officially 24 weeks and 1 day today! I had my 24 week appointment today. We heard the heartbeat but didn't get to see him today. His heartbeat was strong and everything seems good. I can't wait to see what he looks like, to hold his little hands, and to squeeze his little body. I hope he looks just like his daddy, could we be that lucky?! I get more excited everyday as our little collection of baby things grows and I realize that he will be here in about 4 months. Below is a picture of Kyle at about 3-6 months, not sure exact age.

If he looks like us then we are pretty sure he will have big dark eyes, be a little chunky, and a big mouth haha. No matter what he looks like we will love him and we just can't wait to meet him! Unitl next time, Love you all!

22 weeks!

I promised myself that I would take pictures every week from 12 weeks on to show my "growth" however I didn't keep to my plan because I became frustrated that there was nothing to show for this baby. Now that I am 22 weeks I am so mad at myself for not taking the pictures! Take pictures when your pregnant! I have been feeling pretty good! About a week ago I had this weird feeling in my belly like the baby was moving and then my belly would feel like it was going hard. When you would feel my belly it was rock hard and then after a minute of weird feelings it would go away. I didn't know if this was normal or what it was that was making my stomach so hard. Well after much research I have found that I have started having braxton hicks contractions. According to all my books they start as early as the second trimester and I am almost to my third so I was glad to hear its normal. It's such a weird feeling but along with the contractions I feel the baby quite often and that's been the best part so far! About 3 weeks ago I was laying on the couch with my hands on my belly. I had felt the baby from the inside several times but not from the outside yet. All the sudden I felt 2 little movements and I yelled to Kyle to come feel. Ky put his hand on my belly and the baby made a large movement almost like he rolled underneath kyles hand. Ky instantly pulled his hand off and with a startled look said,"what the freak?" excited that he felt it I said, "that was the baby!" Well I guess it freaked him out because he didn't touch my stomach again til this morning haha I think it's a little weird for him but he will get used to it. The first time I felt the baby inside was really weird but it has become the best feeling and I love it when I feel him move!

I went to the doctor on tuesday (18 weeks) I was hopeful the baby would cooperate and we could find out the sex of the baby. Well baby cooperated and we now know what we are having! Take a look at the picture! As soon as the doctor pulled it up on the screen Kyle started laughing because I was positive it was a girl going into the appointment, I was wrong! We are having a BOY and we are so excited!!!! Now to think of a name! Please leave suggestions!

Every year my side of the family has family pictures taken either when we are together for Thanksgiving or Christmas. This year we spent Christmas in Vegas and just got some of the pics back. Here are a few. I think they turned out cute!

Well the news has been floating around for awhile, Ky and I are going to be parents in June! I found out when I was 6 weeks so it was awesome to have such a jump start! I am 16 weeks and have been so lucky so far. I have never thrown up! yeah! The changes I have noticed are tiredness, I'm hungry all the time, I dry heave at bad smells, I really didn't want to be touched or have people up in my space, I have started to crave mexican food which I normally don't really care for, pee 10 times more then normal, wake up in the night, want to hold my stomach and keep waiting for it to move haha and according to Ky I can be pretty moody. I do feel my stomach, uterus, and whatever else is involved stretching and it really hurts sometimes but most the time I feel good. We don't know what the sex of the baby is yet but I have felt the whole time that it's a girl. We will see if I am crazy or not. Ky thinks its a boy. Either way we are excited for our little addition! It's crazy because you plan and look forward to this time in your life for so long and so far it seems surreal. I look at the pictures and when we have the ultrasounds I am in awe that this perfect little thing is growing in me and I will soon be a mom. I am so excited for the future and to see our little peanut! Stay posted for more on Baby Graham!

Ice Fishing

I got Ky an ice fishing tent for Christmas and he has been wanting me to go with him so New Years day we went up to Panguitch. I had 2 hats, a shirt, sweater, fleece jacket, a coat, leggings, 2 pairs of sweat pants, ski pants, 3 pairs of socks and boots. I could barely walk haha. When we got there it was 20 below and freezing but we had a blast. Normally I don't like fishing because its like once in a lifetime for me to catch anything but we caught about 15-20 fish between the 2 of us and we had lots of fun eating cadbury eggs, sea salt and cracked pepper chips, and capri suns! I might even go again....when it gets warmer.

Conference Weekend

This past weekend was General Conference which also means the opening weekend of the duck hunt. We always spend October Conference with Kyle's family in Farmington and the boys get up early and go duck huntung Saturday. This trip Jill (Ky's mom) planned so many fun things for us to do. Saturday we went shopping and made sugar cookies. Sunday we did crafts and had a wonderful dinner. We had a blast spending time with the whole Graham clan. Thanks Jill for being a wonderful mom to all of us and always being so fun!

Weekend up North

We headed up to northern Utah week before about a week ago to visit some family. On saturday night we went to the Weber State football game with Nat, Matt, and Hallie. We had a blast even though the game lasted 5+ hours. It was a great game and it was so fun to see my great friend Lucy and her fam. Here's some pics from the weekend.

A couple weeks ago we went for a ride up the canyon and stopped at a lake to fish. We had so much fun being up in the mountains and enjoying the coldness! Kyle caught a fish but it was still wiggling around in the picture. I was a little freaked out!

We also went to the demolition derby with Candace, Luke, and Ty. It was our first derby and we had fun watching cars run into each other (who'd a thought).

My first 5K!! This was kinda a last minute thing. We had talked about running it along with ky's family but I hadn't trained or anything. Sunday night we decided we were going to do it so Monday morning we got up early and went. Ky stayed with me the whole way and it was fun to do together. It took us 32:05 minutes but I was still proud :)

Lake Powell

A week after we got home we went to Lake Powell with my family. We had a blast seeing them for the first time in months and enjoying their company. We experienced crazy weather, beautiful sunshine, and many laughs. Gotta love Lake Powell!

Saturday Ky was so exhausted from the week of selling. I feel so bad sending him out in the heat. It's been so hot and humid but he never ever complains. Even though he was exhausted he still insisted on taking me out for our weekly date night. I am so grateful for a wonderful husband. He is so kind, selfless, and loving. I couldn't ask for a better person to be with forever! Thanks babe for all you do! You are such an amazing example! Love you!

Right before Ky and I moved my sister Nat gave me this recipe. It has become the go to meal in our house. It is so easy and yummy! Hope you like it as much as we do.
INGREDIENTS:
1 Jar of Pizza Sauce or as much as you want (I use prego).
Mozzarello Cheese
I can of biscuits (ya know those cans that pop).
Whatever toppings you want (I usually use sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and olives. The more the better in my opinion).

First cut up the biscuits in quarters and spread in a dish.

Then put all the toppings, sauce, and cheese you want in with the cut up biscuits and mix. I like to cut up the pepperoni in quarters too so it mixes better.

Then top with more cheese and put in the oven at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes. You just want to make sure the biscuits are all cooked.

Church Sites

Sunday Ky and I went to all the local church sites. We started at the Independence Visitors Center. They do a tour with some videos and audio about the pioneers journey and history. There is a cabin they built to represent what the pioneers must have lived in. There were times that ten families were living in one cabin but the pioneers never complained. While we sat in the cabin listening to the journal entries being read I couldn't help but think how amazing and faithful the saints were to be living in such small quarters while going through so much trial. They also do a little video tour about families and have some messages from the church leaders playing but we had seen these back in May.

After Independence we headed to Liberty Jail. I was most excited about visiting here and it didn't disappoint. They start with giving you the history for those who don't already know and then they take you into the room where the jail is. All of it is rebuilt except the rock floor is the original. The jail was rebuilt to duplicate what the original was. You can kind of see in the pictures but the jail is inside (which I didn't know) and it is built so you can see everything without going in it.

How thick were the walls? 4 feet: 1 foot of timber, 1 foot of loose rock, 2 feet of brick shaped rock.

How did they receive and send mail? Through two of these tiny windows (there was one on each side of the jail) members living in the area would bring and take mail for the men.

A couple more interesting facts....
They also put loose rock in the ceiling to prevent escaping through the roof.
The door was only accessible from the outside.
They never had a single prisoner escape.

Next on the list.... Far West, where the Prophet Joseph Smith received revelation to build a temple. A temple hasn't been built there but there are 4 corner stones in place. They have the 4 cornerstones in glass cases and they each represent something. The 4 cornerstones are: The higher priesthood, The prophet, the lower priesthood, and the twelve apostles. There wasn't a lot to see at this site but the spirit was there and it was a great experience.

Last but certainly not least was Adam-ondi-ahman. It was beautiful there with all of the trees and flowers. There wasn't a tour at this site like there was at Liberty or Independence. You can just walk around and they have a little post with brief information. You feel the spirit and peace right when you drive in. This land isn't owned by the church so they don't have a lot of information about what has and what will take place there. Kyle did some research before about it and while we were there we read our own info. The little info they had stated that Joseph Smith found a old nephi alter on the land. There was no sign of it today.

Just to know what will take place there was an awesome feeling. I am so grateful that I know what I know and that I am able to be a member of this church. Going to see all these sites and learning more about our history was a great experience! Thanks for reading! I know that was a long post!

Worlds and Oceans of Fun!!

About a month ago Ky and I went to Worlds of Fun and I posted that it wasn't so great. We got really sick and couldn't enjoy ourselves. This past weekend we went to Oceans of fun (the neighboring water park to Worlds of Fun). We went with Kaid and Justine. Since they hadn't been to either park, we decided to get the ride and slide and do both parks. This time was MUCH better and we had a blast. I think last time we started out on the spinning rides and we just couldn't recover. We had a blast at the water park doing all the slides and enjoying the beautiful day. Once we were all water parked out we headed to Worlds and had a blast! Thanks Kaid and Justine for being such great friends! We had a blast! Standing in front of the mister at Worlds, So HOT!

Sorry I haven't posted lately, since Ky got his droid we have been taking all our pics on it and so I finally figured out how to get them from droid to blog. This is going to be very random with updates from the last week or so. First off Ky took this picture while he was out knocking and I just think its really pretty. All the streets are lined with trees and that is one thing I will miss.

Next up I got a picture of my anniversary band!!! Those who know me know I have wanted it for awhile but didn't think I would get it so soon. I was so surprised and I love it!Thanks again to my wonderful, amazing hubby! I love you!

Homemade Microwave Carmels!

I found this recipe on another blog and I have made them twice. They are a favorite at our house and SUPER easy! Here's the recipe if anyone wants to try it.

1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup White Sugar
1 Cup White Karo Syrup
2 Sticks Melted Butter
1 14oz. Can Sweetened Condensed Milk

Combine all ingredients in a large glass microwavable bowl and mix well with a wire wisk. Place bowl in microwave and cook for 7 Minutes. Remove bowl (it's very HOT) and stir ingredients very well one more time. Then place bowl back in microwave and cook for 7 more minutes. Pour bubbling hot caramel mixture into a buttered 9x13 pan and let cool completely. Cut into any size you want an wrap individually in wax paper.

Emily came over and helped me wrap them while we watched Americas Next Top Model :). They turned out pretty good! Thanks Emily for hanging out and helping me!

Saturday night we went to Cheesecake factory with the Gordons and the Munsons (munsons had not yet arrived for photo). Of course the food and company was great and we had a fabulous time! We aren't up to much as always but our time here is going by extremely fast. We have enjoyed our daily workouts at the gym followed by relaxing trips to the pool. I wish I could spend every morning this way :). Love you all!

Ky and I have been married 2 years yesterday! It has been the fastest and best two years so far. We have experienced and learned a lot over these two years of marriage and we look forward to many more experiences. We didn't plan anything but to spend time together. With our busy lives we both agreed that would be perfect. We watched a movie, went to church, ate dinner, ate treats, went on a walk, and ...... hahaha. It was a perfect day! For those of you who know Kyle, he has always been very romantic and good at surprising me. However this year I didn't expect anything because he has been so busy and it was a sunday. I was wrong! It was the best surprise yet. He made me kinda nervous because he kept saying he didn't know if I would like it and He hoped that I would. I kept assuring him I would love whatever it was. Well to cut to the chase, I was right. I love it! Ky gave me a diamond wedding band! I have wanted one since we got married but didn't ever expect to get it, atleast for a couple more years. I am getting it sized and all but when I get it i'll try to post pics.
I just want to take a sec to thank Ky for all he does. I don't know how I got so lucky but I truely married my best friend, my soul mate, and my dream man. Ky I love you so much! Thank you for loving me endlessly and giving me something I always thought was ment for the storybooks. It sounds corny but it is true! I am so blessed! LOve you Sweetie!!!!!! Worlds of Fun!

A couple weeks ago we decided to go to Worlds of Fun. It is a theme park in Kansas City. We figured we would just go crazy riding rides till they kicked us out of the park. However it's been awhile since either of us have been to a theme park. We found out neither of us do very good on rides, we both got sick! We had to take breaks between rides and found each other hanging onto the other for support leaving every ride haha. We decided we better ride each ride atleast once to make it worth our time and money. We had fun but I must say the best part was just walking around holding hands and being together! Thanks Ky!

This last week Me and some of the other wives went to the movies. We had planned on Letters to Juliet but when we got our tickets and went to sit down the only seats left were on the very front row! That wasn't going to work because we could hardly see the screen. So we went and traded our tickets in for Killers. I loved it! It is a must see movie. We all really like it!

We are officially Royals fans now that we live here right? Right! So Ky and I packed up and went to the game with some of our great friends. It is so fun having these thing within minutes of our house. I have never really experienced this besides when I lived with my parents for a short time in Vegas, It's so fun! When we got there I couldn't believe how big it was.

The football stadium is right by the baseball stadium. Even though we didn't get to go in, it looks pretty awesome! So maybe we will have to make a pre season game in August!

SO we got to the stadium, got Ky a hat and headed to our seats. It was really hot until we got in the shade but once we were in the shade and all set up it was perfect! The Royals WON which is not a real common thing, so we were excited we got to experience it! The stadium is beautiful! Along the back fence there are fountains that go off in between innings. a perfectly aminicured field, and then there is this giant screen that is amazing to say the least!

We had a great time! Hopefully we can go again soon!

Ky and I have been in Kansas for 5 weeks tomorrow! We can't believe how fast time is flying by. We have loved our time here and besides the shortage of family and friends back home,we haven't missed a thing. We have met lots of new friends here and we are so grateful for all of their kindness!
I just want to thank my wonderful husband for all that he does. He is amazing and is the most loving person I know! I am so lucky to have him! We have had lots more time to spend together out here then we have had back home with our busy schedules. It has been so fun spending every morning with each other! This alone makes me happier then ever!
I am so grateful for all that we have been blessed with. We have such great families! How did we get soooooo lucky? Thanks everyone at home. We love you all so much.
Special hello to our best friends Allie and Alex back in Utah. We miss you so much!You are such great examples. I apologize for the lack of phone calls! There is no excuse. We do love and miss you guys very much! We look forward to many more great times together!

Our first view of Kansas City!

Last Sunday Ky and I decided to go to Kansas City. We headed to Union Station first,it looked a lot cooler online. We did see some cool things but it was more for kids than adults.

Even though the Union Station wasn't all we had hoped we did see this pretty awesome display inside. I think my dad would love it!(it's like that thing that grandpa made but giant) It was a model of the city. It had so much detail it was awesome! If we were to go back this would be the reason. It was much cooler in person!

After we went over to what we found out later was the World War 1 museum. It was really cool! We didn't take the actual tour in the museum because it was sunday and all. However we got to walk around it and go to the top where we got to see all these beautiful views. It is much prettier in person!

Saturday night we went to Iron Man 2. We really liked it! Not as great as the first one but it was still worth seeing. The movie theaters here rock! They have way comfy seats and lots of room to lounge! We had a great time!

Monday was a crazy day! It rained all sunday night, all monday day, and all monday night. I never drive to work because it is right by our house but because it was pouring rain, I drove over. I ended up working til 9 so when I went outside to get in the truck it was completely dark and still pouring! I went to back up like normal and BAM! I hit something. I looked back to see what it was and all I could see was a tree. I was so freaked and tired I just put the truck in drive and drove to our house. When I got home I inspected the truck and couldn't see anything wrong with the truck. I called Ky to tell him what had happened and he was really patient he just said are you ok? and don't worry stuff like that happens. When he got home we drove over to see what I had actually hit and everything. Well it turns out I hit a bright yellow and black firehydrant! Thank goodness it didn't explode and spray water everywhere. One word for that EMBARRASSING! SO I was just grateful that nothing like that had happened. We drove back to the house and it turns out that there was some damage to the back right side if the bumper. We had a yellow and black dent. With the magic eraser we got most of the paint off so now there is just a dent and some rust. Ky was so good he didn't ever get mad or frustrated even though I wrecked his second love! It's funny how we are so worried about the little things in life that really end up meaning nothing at all!

Friday morning at 4:30 AM we left Cedar City, UT for a LONG drive out to Kansas. We planned on 17hrs and it took 18 hrs. It wasn't as bad as I had thought. Ky and I watched the office, listened to a book on tape and read magazines(Thanks Candace!). We had a preety scenic drive up until the Colorado/Kansas line. Kansas is a vast state let me tell you,lots of corn fields!We started getting tired when we had about 2 hours left. However we finally made it! Our apartment is small but nice and it really is BEAUTIFUL here! There are trees everywhere and the only two complaints I have is it's hard to breathe and I can't see anything because everything is hidden by trees, which is pretty but I have to get used to it. We started our jobs monday. I am working in the office and Ky is selling. He had a great first two days and today is his third. I have really enjoyed the office. The girls are really friendly and fun. I look forward to many adventures. We haven't been able to get out and see anything yet so we are excited to do that. We found out that Liberty Jail is 30 minutes away so we will probably go do that a sunday afternoon in the near future. We miss and love you all! We would love visitors and we do have room so if you want to come for a visit just let us know wneh. We are vacant for the summer so far so get your reservations fast! haha Keep in touch love ya!

About three weeks ago Kyle lost his job, so we started the hunt for something new. One of our close friends Kaid went and sold security systems last summer and did very well. Because of the lack of job opportunity in Cedar City and th eopportunity to go with some experienced friends we decided to move to KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI for the summer to sell security systems! We are very excited to go especially now that we know what we are doing. We just want to get out there and start this experience. I will have extra time to keep up on the blog so I expect all of you to do the same so I can keep up with you all.I am also excited to be 20 minutes from Indepence so we can visit the church sites. The closest temple is about 3 hours away, that will make it tough but we are looking forward to visiting the Winter Quarters Temple in Nebraska, Nauvoo Temple, and St. Louis Temple. All visitors are welcome to come for a visit. We love you all!

We have been blessed to spend a lot of time around Utah with friends, family, and each other. We are 2 semesters and a summer away from graduating and we are very excited even though that still seems FOREVER away! We have lived in Cedar City for about 8 months and we have loved it. We don't plan on being here forever but it's a great school and town for now. In January we went to St. George for Nats birthday and to spend time together. Hallie continues to grow and is about 5 months now, Crazy!!! On the 20th of Feb. we went up north for a few events. I had a double bridal shower for two of my great friends from CEU, Nacho(Kristy) and Doxy. It was so great to see everyone and catch up. ALso that weekend was one of Kys lifelong friends wedding reception. Congrats Nick and Casey! It was a beautiful reception, especially the flowers that my mother inlaw Jill did. She always does a great job! Also that weekend another one of Kys friends grandma passed away and her funeral was that day. SO we were grateful that we were able to be there for all of that and be with our friends at this time in their lives. I did see Kys blog about 2 days later! He is so funny! He makes me laugh everyday and I don't know what I would do without him. I love him and am grateful that he puts up with me, school, his job, and all his many responsibilities. He is truely the most amazing husband and person I know. Thanks to all our friends. I will work on keeping up with the blog. I love keeping up with yours so keep that up. LOve you all!

Brian Head

Also a couple weeks ago we headed for Paragonah lake to go ice fishing but we didn't quite make it. You have to go up past Brian Head to get there and the road from Brian Head to Paragonah was closed! SOOOOO we had taken our little grill and hotdogs so we pulled over at Brian Head and had lunch. We looked like to big red necks!!! But it was fun. We also tried to go sledding but that didn't work so well. The snow was about to our waists and very fluffy! Here's some pics of our adventure!

Hello all you bloggers! This is going to be funny. Nicole has been up North with the Norr's all weekend, and I find myself here in Cedar bored all by myself. So, I thought I might take the chance to put something I would put up on our blog, that Nicole would never put up for you all to see! I have no idea how to do this, so I guess we'll just see how it pans out. (We'll see how long it takes her to notice that I did this...) ;)

(Don't tell her I cleaned this fish in her kitchen sink, She'd kill me!)

This is one of the fish I caught at Panguitch on Saturday through the ice. Luke (brother-in-law), Jordan (neighbor), and I all went up for the afternoon and sat by our ice holes waiting for the fish to bite. If you know any of us, we won't leave the lake until we can't see our fishing poles due to the darkness setting in. This one was caught during the last moments of daylight. I snowed on us pretty good and we found ourselves driving over the top of the mountain back to Cedar through 8 inches of snow. Luckily we didn't have anything too exciting happen on the way down the mountain and made it back in one piece.

This picture on the right is another winter adventure I had, this time I was flying solo. You can tell that I wasn't having very much luck trying to get the timer on my camera to work. The following picture is evidence that, in fact, I never was successful. I had to take the picture of everything I bagged that day without me in it. (I can't wait to see how Nicole reacts! hehe)

This past weekend we went down to Vegas to visit my parents. We had tons of fun! Saturday we decided to go to the park to play volleyball. Madi is starting on a team this month so we thought we would get her some practice. My mom, Nate, Ky went against Madi, Me, and Dad. We had some good laughs and enjoyed the amazing weather! The night before my dad took us all down to the city center on the strip. My dad is a project manager for fisk in Vegas and they were over the project. He showed us all th einside and out, explaining the amazing prcess and dollars that went into everything. We had a lot of fun here are some pics!

Christmas!!!

This Christmas was different then most, my first Christmas without my family! Ky and I have been together since 2007 but the first Christmas we weren't married yet and last year we spent in Vegas with my family. I thought that it was going to be really weird and hard. However it was wonderful and I continue to get closer to my other family (the graham's). I did miss my family and am very grateful for all that they do and the wonderful people/examples that they are! we had a blast up north! Of course with Jill we had tons of fun plans and played a lot of games (which I love more then anybody I think). We got spoiled by each other and Ron and Jill (ky's parents). Ky gave me a SILHOUETTE!!! If you don't know what that is it's just like a cricut. I have had so much fun with it making cards, blocks and scrapbook pages (as seen below) Christmas, Birthday, anything that Ky hasn't known what I was getting him and it was so fun!! I thought, "Wow I should have done this along time ago!". Another fun thing was having Ty, our nephew to watch open presents. He would tear off a tiny piece at a time and it took forever for just one present and then he would just want to play with that one thing. haha It was so fun to see him get excited and kind of know what was going on but I think he will be even more fun next year! Thansk everyone for your love and support! We are so grateful that we can be close enough to spend holidays with family and friends!

This past weekend we got to go up north to visit our family. Hallie's blessing, Matt's graduation, Ron's birthday,and a planned Christmas dinner were all this weekend and it was so fun! Thanks everyone for all that you do for Ky and I all the time. Nat and Matt are always feeding us, letting us stay with them, and letting us practice our future parenting skills on Hallie. We love them and her so very much! They are wonderful! Then Kelly and Julie hosted the Christmas dinner and the food was fantastic as always! Thanks so much for treating us as your own. Grandma Harris invited us over to see her beautiful house all decorated for Christmas and watch the Jazz game with her. She was a great hostess getting us drinks and fruit cake (which was great!). We can't wait to go up and visit again. On or way homw we stopped to see Jill and Ron for Ron's birthday. Grandma O and Stac were there. We had dinner, cake and ice cream. It was great and we can't wait to go up for Christmas next week!!!

So it has been forever since I posted anything!! Especially Pictures. Ky and I have been blessed to spend lots of time with our family and friends. These past few months (starting in May) we finished up at CEU. Ky had previously graduated but it was my official graduation. Then in June we celebrated our 1 year anniverary. We went to logan and stayed in teh anniversary inn and went to the Logan Temple for the first time since we got married. Then we headed up tp Bear Lake and rented jet skis and had so much fun!!! July brought our yearly family vacations. First with the "Norr" family. We went to Stone boating/camping for about 4 days then headed up to Jackson Hole to go river rafting and enjoy Jackson. Two days after we got home from this week and a half vacation we MOVED!!!!! Cedar City is our new home and we love it!!! The summer stayed busy so we didn't get to stay home much. The next weekend we went to the Salt Lake Bees game with kys family (24th). Then the next weekend we did the "Graham" family trip to Fish Lake. Its always so nice cause its cool and so pretty there. The rest the summer flew by and we have continued to love Cedar. We see family so much more and are really enjoying it. Ky is studying accounting and I am Elementary Education. We graduate May of 2011 and plan to be here atleast till then. Ill keep updating so there isn't so much next time:)

We don't get to see each other much with school but we are defiantly enjoying the time we have during weekends!!! Ward Halloween Party

Most of you know that Kyle is the second councelor in the singles ward bishopric here at CEU and last night was our Halloween party. As you can see we were very creative with our coustumes:). I went as Ky and he went as me. We had planned to go all out but Ky got home from work late so we just ended up looking like weirdos in each others clothes. Well we didn't get away for long but we had a blast! Ky and I went up to Park City for a few days. The first night wasn't to exciting...We watched movies, ate PB&J sandwiches and slept. Saturday we got up had breakfast at a cute little diner in Heber then headed up to Park City for the rest of the day. We rode the Alpine slide, coaster, and zip line. It was so beautiful up there. That night we got ready and went down to main street for dinner ( It was so good). We loved it up there and can't wait to go back.

The week before our wedding my family finally made it to lake powell. Ky had never been so I was so excited for him to finally see my favorite place in the world. We had a blast! Cliff jumping , tubing, and great weather. It was so great to be with family and not have a care in the world. I don't think very many brides can say they weren't freaking out the week before their wedding but thanks to my family I had the best week and recommend all brides go to lake powell the week before their weddings! Can't wait for next year.
